The acoustic ensemble of paranormal investigators Andy Cowitt, Suki O’Kane, Isabel Samaras, and Michael Wertz, made their debut in 2014 as a trio in rustic Port Costa, wowing the crowd at the certainly not haunted Burlington Hotel with their ukulele-and-vocal renditions of largely unpopular 60's, 70’s, and 80’s classics composed by mostly dead people.

In 2017, they welcomed Suki and her toy drums into the combo, enabling the Ghosts to reach new heights of ramshackle joy with their curated covers and catchy originals. Commercial mega-success followed almost immediately.
